Increasingly businesses and community groups throughout Scotland are seeing benefits of producing a variety of signs in English and Gaelic. Whilst there are few native Gaelic speakers in Cowal, the interest in the Gaelic language and culture is blossoming. Tourists, particularly those attracted to Cowal as part of Homecoming Scotland 2009, are increasingly expecting to see bi-lingual signs.

Pròiseact nan Ealan (PnE) and Murray International Language Centre (MiLC) are pleased to announce the official launch of Seinn thu Fhèin – the brand new Gaelic karaoke DVD. The DVD will be launched during the Celtic Connections festival on Friday 23rd January from 5 – 6pm. The launch will take place at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) as part of the inaugural Gaelic Film and Music Festival, Film ‘s Craic (22nd – 24th January).
