The Celtic Media Festival will take place at the Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa in Galway this year from 16-18 April.

The Celtic Media Festival is an annual three-day celebration of broadcasting, film talent and excellence from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany. Its aim is to promote the languages and cultures of the Celtic countries on screen and in broadcasting.
Gaelic is well represented as always and this year programming has received the following nominations in 18 "best of" categories:
• Dòmhnallaich na Frainge (Factual Documentary category)
• Rapal TV (Young People category)
• Seachd - The Inaccessible Pinnacle (Feature Length Drama category)
• An Ceanadach (Entertainment category)
• An Teaghlach (Documentary category)
• Radio nan Gaidheal are also nominated for Radio Station of the Year, Derek "Pluto" Murray is up for Presenter Personality of the Year, and
• www.bbc.co.uk/seumasaich - Na Seumasaich has been nominated in the interactive category.
