The festival will be held from 9 to 14 March 2009 with rehearsals and drama related events and activities taking place during the first part of the week and culminating with the performances of the selected plays on the Friday and Saturday evenings. There are no rules as such for the Festival, other than that each play must be a complete, original piece in Gaelic that lasts around ten minutes and must be premiered at an Lanntair. The participants are responsible for delivering the completed piece to stage.

Scripts must be submitted to An Lanntair for selection by 31 December 2008. Those selected to be performed will receive a small grant towards the costs related to the staging of the play. Only one grant per individual/company will be considered but you may submit more than one script for consideration.
