Carol Anne MacKay has been a regular prizewinner of high-grade competitions locally and nationally and is in great demand as both piping and accordion tutor and piper for Highland dancing.

Her strong, clean style of playing, as well as her ability to play to such a high standard on a number of instruments has also made her a much sought-after musician. She is also a founder member of Dòchas..

Ewan is a member of the band Breabach, (Kicking), where he has proved himself to be a talented singer. With the band he has toured in Canada, Spain, Germany, and throughout Scotland, performing at festivals such as Celtic Connections both in 2006 ad 2007. The band was nominated as Best Up and Coming Band at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards in 2006 and Ewan was selected as BBC Radio Scotland Young Musician of the Year 2008.
