Fèis na h-Oige was launched in 1992 to give Gaelic speaking children the opportunity to learn and develop skills in traditional music, song, dance and crafts. The Feis is open to Gaelic speakers between the ages of 8 and 18, and there is a "Fèis Bheag", for primary school children under 8.
At the Fèis, children can take part in various traditional subjects, regardless of experience. All tuition is carried out through the medium of Gaelic. Applications are welcome from complete beginners to competent musicians and classes are arranged accordingly. Instruments are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they can.
